The toxin that these bacteria produce can be <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/news-room\/fact-sheets\/detail\/e-coli\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">inactivated by heating food to 158\u00b0F<\/a><\/strong>, but why take a chance?<\/p>\n<p>I think it\u2019s far better to forego part of your crop than it is to risk your health.<\/p>\n<p>Cat droppings can also pose a health hazard.
