Seeds typically sprout in 21 to 28 days.<\/p>\n<p>After seedlings develop their second set of true leaves, gradually harden off for up to eight weeks before transplanting out.<\/p>\n<p>With their adaptability to sandy or gravelly soils, primrose makes a great choice for naturalized areas such as meadows, wildflower gardens, and woodland fringes.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Pests-and-Disease\">Pests and Disease<\/h2>\n<p>Primroses are generally free from pest problems, but <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gardenerspath.com\/how-to\/disease-and-pests\/repel-slugs-snails\/\">slugs and snails<\/a><\/strong> enjoy dining on new growth.
